Quick tip #1

Hey guys!
Mother’s day is coming up and you still have no idea what to give her as a present to show her how much you love her? (Besides, that you should show her your love everyday. ;)) If your mom is a tea drink like my mommy, then she will love this.



This is the coolest thing ever and I found it in Xenos. It’s a cup and a teapot in one and it’s called “tea-for-one”. As my mom loves tea and she rather drinks it on her own while relaxing I thought that this is just perfect for her. :)





I planned to serve her some Chai in this cute little thing. And if you think this is also something for your mommy, here’s the recipe:

The Perfect Day #Prom

Hey guys,
today it’s my turn in the blog series “The Perfect Day” and as I didn’t really know what to write as the “perfect-ness” of a day depends on my mood(and what happened and stuff) I’ll just write about how I imagine the day of prom would be like (which also happens to be my 18th birthday!). :)

I just hope that I can wake up and that there’ll be no noise made by my younger brothers and parents. That’s actually all I need to relax and be relaxed the whole day. And after I brushed my teeth and had my breakfast, I’ll have a seat and read through some of my beauty books and drink tea.

Green Tea and Jasmine are my favorites. :D

After I’ve been on my own a few hours, I’ll get ready for prom without having some mommy behind my back yelling to hurry up. I, personally, love to get ready in a peaceful athmosphere. Unfortunately, I can’t show you my prom dress yet as it has not been delivered. All I can say is that it’s a blue-ish purple colour. :)
I make sure that my room smells good, so I feel even more comfy:

I personally love the sent of cinnamon, cotton and roses. :)

So, I start making myself up in all comfortableness and do it all slowly, step by step, enjoying it. While you might think it’s a waste of time, for me it’s just perfect to chill out. As I gathered inspiration before in the beauty books I know exactly what I will do on my face. (I can’t really decide if I want to wear a strong or a simple make-up yet. :P) With hair, it’s a pain in the *** doing them as I have quite fine hair and they do what they like but not what I want. But do you know what sucks even more? Having a stylist, who might mess up everything causing more stress.

So, being dressed up and ready for the final event from school, this is my perfect day!

I love dressing myself up, drinking tea and being on my own as I think having some time for yourself is the most important aspect of a perfect day ever. This might sound a little weird as spending some time with family/friends/boyfriend is perfect for other people. :)

Looking for a Dupe #1

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to show you two nail polishes, which are in my fav colour blue-green. One is a steal, the other one a huge splurge in comparison. The first ail polish is the p2 Volume Gloss Gel Look Polish in 140 wild miss, which only costs 1,95€ and you get 12 ml. The second one is a total splurge and costs nearly four times as much as p2's nail polish. It's Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure in 674 jungle gem. It costs 7.95€ and contains 14.7 ml.

Applying this nail polish is a total pain in the a**. The first two coats are patchy, totally uneven and streaky. The color after two coats matches the color of the Sally Hansen polish. To get an even color on your nails a third coat is essential but therefore the color comes of a little darker. It also takes forever to dry as it has a thick consistency. After 2-5 days it starts chipping and peeling off weirdly. Finally, the color is a tiny bit blue-er than 674 jungle gem.

You only need two coats of this nail polish to get a full-coverage and even color pay-off thus it dries faster. The consistency is rather thin in comparison to the p2 nail polish. It lasts 5 days without chipping and tip-wear. As you only need two coats the color is lighter. It has a little bit more green to it. 

If you want a better quality and if you're willing to pay more, I would recommend buying Sally Hansen's nail polish. But if only the color is important to you and you are not as impatient as I am, I would recommend p2. :)

Hey guys!
Today I want to show you my foundation routine for school and for everytime I don't really have time. It really is a quick foundation routine that covers up blemishes and evens out the skin tone.
You'll need:

1. a BB Cream (I used the one by Nivea.)
2. a concealer (Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer in Nr. 250)
3. a lighter concealer (Catrice Re-Touch Light-Reflecting Concealer 020 light beige)
4. a translucent powder (Mememe Correct&Perfect Concealer Kit in 03 taupe) *I just noticed a typing mistake in the picture above. facepalm. xD*
5. a blending brush (NYX B28 Countour/Shadow - Large)

How to:

1. Dot the BB Cream on your face and blend.
2. Apply the concealer on your under-eye circles, around your nose and mouth and everywhere you need it. Now blend that aswell.
3. Now highlight your face by applying your lighter concealer/highlighter on your cheek bones, nose bridge, chin, cupid's bow and inner corner of your eyes. Use the concealer if you want a natural highlight without shimmer and use the highlighter if you don't mind shimmer.
4. Set your concealer and highlighter with translucent powder. Finish your look and you're good to go. :)
